Sorena Sattari pointed out the support of knowledge-based and technological companies of Golestan during the opening ceremony of Gorgan Innovation Center, stating: currently, 5,400 knowledge-based companies in the country are operating in various sectors.

Pointing out that knowledge-based is a public culture that should influence the society, Sattari added: attempts have been made to develop an ecosystem so that various parts of the province invest on the youth and their creativities. All our efforts and expectations are to promote the culture of knowledge-based, which is the idea-nurturing, and to bring the innovative idea to the product, service and added value.

The president of the national elites foundation talked about the tangible presence of knowledge-based companies in the economy of the province, expressing: knowledge-based companies and startups have played a good role in the country's economy, and they have affected these businesses in solving society's problems and creating added value.

Gorgan Innovation Center was decided to be established in the previous trip of the vice president to this province and it has been built in a land with an area of 200 m². Today, this area has increased to 1200 m².

During the ceremony, Sattari presented the land and land documents of eight companies for development and construction in Golestan Science and Technology Park located in Agh Ghala Industrial town to the managers of these companies.

After the ceremony, the vice president for science and technology affairs visited the knowledge-based companies and technological units in Gorgan Innovation Center and Golestan Science and Technology Park.

After opening Gorgan Innovation Center, Sattari visited the Golestan Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Training Center and talked with the technological activists of the units in addition to learning about their activities.

During this one-day trip to Golestan, Sattari visited the knowledge-based and technological companies of Islamic Azad University, Gorgan Branch, especially in the field of growing ornamental and medicinal plants and some pot achievements.

Moreover, the first rural internet television of the country was unveiled in the presence of Sattari.

During this one-day trip to Golestan Province, Health Innovation Center of Golestan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services will be opened and exploited. Moreover, a memorandum of understanding will be signed to establish Golestan Creative Industries Innovation Center.
